Fishermen

The area boasts several second-category rivers and lakes, ideal for fishing. Nestling in the hollow of the Briare canal, the gîte backs onto Lac des Closiers, the Loing and its string of ponds. It’s said that carp can be caught here, and roach and gudgeon can be teased.

Anenclosed storage area is available for buckets, cans and walking sticks!

Bikers

Whether you’re a solo rider, a duo, or even a foursome on a tour of Burgundy, Sologne or the Orléans region, the gîte offers an ideal stopover for motorcycles and their crews. A secure parking lot and enclosed annexes await machines, jackets and accessories.

A few home-cooked dishes or a hearty breakfast to get you off to a good start are also on the menu. All the ingredients for a biker-friendly break.

Hikers

Montargis and the surrounding area invite you to explore on foot: stroll between the bridges and canals of the old town, explore the forest trails of Paucourt or the peaceful water loops of Cepoy. The Loiret also boasts a dense network of signposted footpaths for more experienced hikers.

At the foot of the GR31, the gîte offers all the amenities and comfort needed for a well-deserved – and why not gourmet – stopover.

Cyclists

Between Fontainebleau and the Loire by bike, or on the loop of the Canal d’Orléans, the gîte is a great stopover for experienced pedal cyclists. Situated on the edge of the Scandiberique (EV3), the gîte offers a range of facilities, including a lock-up room , to help you get back into shape. A hearty breakfast is also on the menu!

A complimentary loan of two-wheelers is also available for enthusiasts who wish to explore the surrounding area more slowly.
